The Preacher's Son offers stunning stained glass windows by George Dombek, garden patio seating, a rooftop bar and a fine speakeasy - Undercroft Bar.

Branzino was delicious. Our waiter, Fabio, was great. Swiss roll cake was a great way to end the meal. A unique vibe and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Fayetteville
About the restaurant
At Vetro 1925, we serve classic Italian flavors with a touch of sophistication. Everyone thinks Italian food is pasta, but it’s so much more than that! Chef Alan Dierks specializes in local ingredients, sustainable seafood and fine cuts of meat. He and his staff strive to preserve simple, clean flavors, using the freshest ingredients. Our meats are sourced from local farms practicing the humane treatment of animals. We import our aged prosciutto, cheeses, and Sicilian olives from Italy. Depending on the season, you may see a few surprises on the menu in addition to your old favorites. A large portion of our menu is gluten-free, and we always have a vegetarian and vegan option as well!

We shared the mozzarella antipasto and each had individual entrées. We found the presentation and quality excellent and we will return. The server was quite good both as to taking care of us and explaining the menu and the specials. They have an excellent wine list, encompassing many styles and regions, and with accessible price points. The restaurant is small, but not crowded with both tables near the window ahead of the bar as well as the majority of the tables at the rear. I recommend reservations.

Small plates were excellent, steak was over cooked for Medium rare, and lacked flavor. Drinks were decent. We would try them again. By far the small plates were the the star of the menu.

We went for a late lunch with a friend who has hearing aids, and thus needs a quiet environment. I was a bit concerned when I saw how limited the menu was, but my concern was not warranted. There was something for everyone, and it was DELICIOUS! The beet hummus was outstanding, and even the burgers had some type of seasoning that made them special. Because we went for the final seating for lunch, the place was almost empty and very conducive to old friends who haven't seen each other in a long time catching up. The waiter / bartender who served us was a delight - very friendly, always there when we wanted something, but not intruding on us. All in all, a great dining experience.

The food and drinks were excellent, the menu was intriguing, if also a bit boldly priced, and the service was phenomenal. The music was so loud that we weren’t able to enjoy normal dinner conversation at all and we could barely hear the server. A better aural atmosphere would’ve set our experience over the top.
