A great place to watch a game or enjoy some family time. Featuring burgers and classic comfort food and drinks. Try out the 80/20 Malt Shoppe for some house made ice cream or a shake with your burger. Grab a bourbon or local brew to enjoy at the indoor/outdoor bar. Have an evening relaxing on our large patio. First time eating at the Eagle. We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect. The food and our waiter were excellent. The fried chicken was delicious as well as the succotash and collard greens. We’ll be back again.

The Troll Pub opened on October 19th 2011, underneath the 2nd Street Bridge in a 135 year old space directly next to the YUM Center on historic Whiskey Row. The Troll Pub is a subterranean retreat that features a Gastro-pub style menu with a wide selection of great tasting food items, craft beer, local artwork, and an overall atmosphere unique to Louisville. We are just blocks from the Louisville Convention Center and only steps away from many of the hottest attractions and hotels situated downtown. Just look for the Troll on the corner of 2nd and Washington, he will show you the way.

We had made a reservation for 4 but ended up needing a 6 top. Staff was very accommodating in directing us to the bar area but came up with a table for us! Great service. Good food! Extensive beer menu.

We really enjoyed our first ever visit here. We sat on the patio midafternoon thinking it wouldn't be that busy and arrived at 3:30 PM. Shortly thereafter, the place loaded up and as they state on their website, patio seating is a hot commodity! We were so fortunate to grab a table in the corner overlooking the river. The service and the ambience were all fantastic. The manager even came up to say hello. Our only issue was that the marguerita pizza they serve is pretty loaded and not as light as typical maguerita pizzas go. It was absolutely delicious but just keep that in mind. They also, and I believe it was inadvertent, drenched it in olive oil. Before I could say anything, the server actually commented that there's usually not that much olive oil on this pizza. We did not need it replaced because it was still super delicious! Definitely come here on a date night or social evening. The location cannot be beat, the staff is wonderful, and our overall experience easily rocked in at five stars!!

Everything was fine, but the prices can be a bit much (salad and bruschetta for two with no drinks was $50), and their HVAC was having some issues so it was a bit warm. Still, our server was excellent and the food was good. Not a bad place for a quick date night with my wife, just not the cheapest, either.
