Experienced a wonderful cocktail hour and dinner at The Oaks Club & Cedar Bar. The setting is is small and quaint with a great view of the river below. The almond crusted grouper was A+ while my date chose three items from the starter menu. Luckily she shared and I especially enjoyed the goat cheese item. Everything was superb. Our server was professional and very friendly. The prices were more than reasonable for the high quality. Our first time but we will return the next time travel brings us to the Golden Isles.

Located just north of the Demere Rd. round-a-bout in Redfern Village, in the heart of St. Simons Island, we offer a full bar, a wide selection of appetizers and seafood with an extensive raw bar and feature a pristine marsh view. Oyster offerings rotate from aquacultures up & down the East Coast, and are available raw or steamed as well as stuffed & baked. Meat eaters fear not! We offer a Filet, NY Strip and Pork Ribeye that will compete with any steakhouse in the area.

Enjoy cocktails & appetizers and enjoy the marsh view from the lounge on our back porch!

Notable appetizers include the Raw Oysters (of course!), Old Bay Chicken Wings, Drunken Clams and Southern Crab Dip. You can also, graze on a Double Cheeseburger, Po' Boy or Fish Tacos.

For dinner, Chef Ben's Special of the Day usually takes top billing, but the Seared Scallops with Tasso Cream and Shrimp & Grits with Red Eye Gravy are popular too. However, the Seared Pork Ribeye with Guajillo Butter is an unsuspecting hit!

We had a very nice lunch out on the back porch, my favorite spot. The service was great, drinks were tasty and the food was delicious. Eggs Benedict and Tuna Tacos were standouts (as usual)!

Great dining experience! Our waiter was great and helpful with helping me pick a food option that fits my dietary restrictions! He was very kind and checked on us and made sure we received everything ordered. Definitely check it out the view was amazing as well!!

The view is incredible. The service was quite pleasant. The drinks were good. Food was good. We truly enjoyed spending our Easter on the terrace over looking the water.

Broken Keel has live music for lunch and dinner every day of the week on our outside patio. We have $2 ship shots every time a cargo ship goes by, OH SHIP! Great atmosphere! Food was flavorful, had fried shrimp and house salad, but sitting outside under an awning with live music was awesome. Great location on River Street.
