Poe’s Tavern specializes in gourmet hamburgers (ground in-house and cooked to temperature), hand-cut french fries, fish tacos, entrée salads, quesadillas and Edgar’s Nachos. The indoor / outdoor bar offers 24 taps featuring a rotating selection of local and regional craft beer as well as a specialty cocktail menu. A large covered patio (heated when necessary) accommodates large groups, dogs and sports on the big projection screen. For special gatherings, a private dining room can host parties of up to 25. Inspired by noted author Edgar Allan Poe, the restaurant is located a block from the river and the Plant Riverside District. The building’s renovation from an old fire station won an AGC Build Georgia Award in 2023.

Repeal 33 is more than a dining establishment or bar; it is an extension of Savannah’s culture and history, providing a sensory experience in how that history molded it into the destination it is today.

Very nice brunch and the gospel concert following was outstanding. The brunch is premium priced, but the options are outstanding, service was exceptional, and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend.
