About the restaurant
The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

This amazing historic house is a museum in and if urself. We were seated in the oldest part. 1734! The water was attentive, quick and informative. The food! The crab soup was rich and delicious. The fried chicken platter! We split it and had plenty of food. Absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed ALL of the songs, expecially the song, "There Is A Balm in Gilead'! Loved the spoken word from Lillian Baptiste! We will definitely be attending again!

The ribeye steak was probably the best steak I have had in a long while! We switched the green beans for broccoli and it was cooked perfectly along with garlic mashed potatoes. Our waitress was super helpful with food questions and drinks! I would recommend eating here anytime you are in Savannah.
