Stopped in for a quick early lunch. Had the shrimp appetizer, which is normally breaded and has peppers. I asked for it just sautéed with butter and garlic and they were some of the best, most tender and tasty shrimps I've ever had

I’ve been going to Don Rufino’s for more than 10 years and every time I have visited the restaurant has been better. I think most people are surprised by the level of culinary excellence offered at very reasonable prices. Our table of four enjoyed the signature mojitos with very fresh muddled mint with the ceviche and burrata appetizers. We each had different entrees that we really liked but it’s been two weeks and at the moment I cannot remember what they were. Sorry.

Another fantastic meal at La Cava Alta Fiori! We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Ronnie is the best waiter and always has a smile. The food never disappoints. We highly recommend the oysters, tuna carpaccio and the beef medallions! And the ambiance and views are the best in the area!

Finally a good Mexican inspired restaurant in Escazu. The sauces were tasty (loved the salsa verde), the courtesy beans with pork were excellent, margaritas and cheladas were great,, Al pastor tacos were legit and desserts were unique and excellent. There was a large party taking place at the restaurant with loud live music but the service continued and the music was nice. .

Beautiful ambiance and top notch service made this dinner a memorable one. Our server was exactly attentive enough without coming too often. The food was beautiful, especially the sea bass appetizer and the pork belly entree. The mocktails were delicious and beautiful!

Great experience to celebrate Mother's Day. My only recommendation would be to elimimate tge TVs. The ambience, sevice and food are perfect for an enjoyable family experiemce. Having TVs on hinders this experience.

It's the fourth time I visit Buchon and it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. It is very difficult to find a place that has amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing ambience and service, and amazing prices. No matter what type of food you like, I guarantee you'll have an incredible experience at Buchon. Their menu changes seasonally but it has always delivered and they maintain customer favorites. The burger and cheese cubes are a MUST. If it's your first time visiting, don't worry about parking on the street or with the local guachiman, you're in good hands!
