My boyfriend and I had the best meal and drinks that we’ve had in Ottawa here. The best was the beef tartare, and the Belmont’s signature pork belly open face bread/sandwich. Their own draft beer was good too.

Once again Zoe's at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier have outdone themselves. I took my daughter for tea yesterday, to celebrate her starting school today. We of course enjoyed some delectible favourites on the menu. Better yet, the servuce was exceptional and my daughter in particular was treated like a princess! The staff (Garrick and Josée) were so attentive to her as a customer but also highlighted this personal transition she is embarking on in a very positive, intentional and nurturing way. It was our first time meeting Josée, and I believe 3rd time having the pleasure of Garrick's company. I can't find the words to describe how incredibly far these folks'personalities, attention to details, and general professionalism (in the form of a charming charisma way) goes. It was exactly the experience I had hoped my daughter would have on her final day off. My own heart bursts too as I think of the pleasant smiles, stories and laughs we shared, all 4 of us. As always, the ambiance and charm of the Laurier is always so enjoyable. You would not know there was a major reno going on as it is so well contained (and noted). The Mezzanine is always so bright and welcoming. We would have like to postpine laat-minute back-to-school shopping and wallow away the afternoon there! But alas... Overall an out-of-this-world positive experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Very clean and quick service for lunch for our party of 8. Food was excellent even for those of us who weren’t vegetarian. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Definitely would go back again.

Delightful afternoon tea. Great choice of teas. Sandwiches outstanding. The dairy-free platter for my super-allergic daughter was excellent - she didn’t feel left-out as she often does. The two young lady wait staff were delightful and helpful - really added to an excellent birthday experience. And, as my granddaughter said, the decor was super cute. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

We went for dinner and once we received our food, we noticed a bunch of fruit flies which we noticed that was hanging on the wall. We noticed how dirty the wall was. Would be nice if staff could do a big strub on the wall where tables are situated. On a better note, Food was mouthwatering.

Stepping into Quelque Chose for the first time for my husband's surprise belated birthday celebration, we were immediately captivated by the colourful macarons on display and the lively buzz behind the counter. Beyond, the charming seating area awaited us. The phrase from Edith Piaf’s “La Vie En Rose” on the wall was perfection, and the room, adorned with framed impressionist art, elegant mirrors, and soft blue patterned wallpaper was a soothing, vintage atmosphere that felt like stepping back in time. Jazz played softly, setting the perfect mood for a morning of indulgence. Our classic Afternoon Tea for breakfast was a feast for the senses: a beautiful presentation of yummy vegetarian sandwiches for most of our group, warm scones that we couldn’t stop raving about, and a display of stunning pastries. The selection of teas and macarons was endless, each flavour more tempting than the last. We savoured every bite of those delicate scones, made even more heavenly with a dollop of cream and fresh strawberry jam. Service was refreshingly lovely and timely. Our experience exceeded all our expectations. We had a delightful morning, filled with laughter, good company, and unforgettable flavours—an experience that left us all smiling long after the last sip of tea.

This time we decided to take the Brunch. It was a great choice. The food had a great taste, especially the cooked Salmon! We also went as we forgot a pair of reading glasses. The personnel was so kind and went to the lost and founds for us. That was a double win.
