Heat lamps make the patio enjoyable year round. Choose to stay indoors and dine on the charbroiled breast of chicken gyro pasta dish or the chicken and sausage Mediterranean pasta served with a house Mediterranean salsa. Demitri’s Taverna has several appetizers that can be enjoyed before a meal or with drinks like the flamed saganaki, yaiyai’s sloppy fries or the baked feta garlic bread topped with melted parmesan. Muy buen restaurante de comida griega. Por dentro el decorado es muy lindo (yo incluso sugeriría que las mesas no llevaran mantel; se vería más auténtico). Las albóndigas de cordero y el pescado asado son unos imperdibles. Recomiendo mucho guardar especio para el postre.

En 1977, John Gianaras adquirió el L&F Corner Market y lo convirtió en un restaurante informal que bautizó con el nombre de su padre, Panos'. En 1988, los recién casados John y Vi ampliaron y reformaron el espacio y lo transformaron en un restaurante de gastronomía californiana y griega. Estuvieron al mando del famoso Panos' durante un total de 20 años. Hace 17 años, la familia Gianaras recuperó el espacio y dejó la dirección a las hijas, Kristen y Kathryn. Actualmente, el Novy ofrece un menú de platillos económico e informal de gastronomía californiana, elaborada con ingredientes frescos, locales y orgánicos, en la medida de lo posible. El vino y la cerveza son de barril, lo que permite reducir residuos.
