Excellent food here. I had the beet salad, tuna belly salad, and roasted cauliflower with dates, bacon, blue cheese, and Marcona almonds. The cauli was a veritable symphony of flavors and textures. Overall loved this place!

If driving street parking could be tricky, check out the SF general hospital parking structure just 2 blocks away from the restaurant. If coming from the East Bay or Peninsula location is just a few blocks from the freeway (exit Cesar Chavez/Potrero on the 80 freeway). The nearest Bart station is at Potrero & 24th, a 15-minute walk.

I really love this restaurant- the food is excellent, servers are kind and helpful. But the past two times ive been here, once for lunch, once for dinner, they’ve been understaffed and you just feel sorry for how crazy busy the two wait staff have been trying to tend bar and help customers at tables . The waiter explained about being slow to start and then getting alot of walk ins, but I think after gettig. Their Michelin star they can bank on being very busy on a regular basis, and staff up. ( before the star , I was never there when it wasnt a full house). Also, the noise level is high so be prepared.

Came for lunch, and sat at the bar. Had the octopus, empanadas, pan con tomato and patatas bravas. Everything was delicious, especially the octopus. The Baceloneta Sangria was very refreshing. Uziel, the bar man who served us was so nice and made our experience even better. We enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch the next day.
