Love these guys and what they're doing. The chef is very hands-on, even doing the shopping at numerous places every week, including his local farmer's market. Sit at the bar if you can (only four stools, sadly) and watch the kitchen in action. And when it comes to the small but well-curated wine list, put yourself in the hands of the staff, who are passionate about the pairings. Our waiter is a former chef who now works front of house - we think it's because he had too much personality to keep him in the back of house!

WOW that was delicious. I booked this last minute reservation for dinner and it exceeded expectations. Pisco, ceviche, pork belly salmon - we loved it all. I told 3 friends about it the next day - cannot wait to return. Where has this place been all my life? Superb!!!

We had a wonderful Business dinner at La Mar Cocina Peruana. We had great and attentive service with Everyone enjoying the delicious food. La Mar was also very flexible to update our group reservation to add a last minute additional attendee. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, ambience and service; we look forward to coming back to La Mar Cocina Peruana again soon!

Great food. The free birthday dessert was excellent - and we ordered a second one to share as well ;) I requested a quiet table and got one, even after a somewhat large party was seated near us. Our waiter was very friendly and energetic.

In 2023, Emelina's opened in Santa Clara and in 2024, a new location opened in San Jose. In June 2024, Emelina's Plus opened on historic Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale. Emelina's was perfect for a 15 person business dinner. We were seated indoors (per request) at the back of the restaurant. The drinks were fun (try the flight of pisco sours), there were vegetarian and non-shellfish appetizer and entree options to suit everyone. Main dishes were all delicious, and the portions were large - we were too full to try dessert!

This is definitely a neighborhood gem! Delicious cuisine and great drinks! Love their outdoor dining patio. And our server, Ashley,was really friendly and attentive.

This place is all about the food. Ignore the menu, it's just there to provide familiar options. Talk to your server. They'll find something for you that will delight. The decor is standard diner decor, it isn't the point. The seating looks like something from the 1950s, but again, the seating isn't the point. The food is the point, and the food is delightful.

Located next to the Pacifica Beach Hotel, this restaurant serves thoughtfully prepared dishes in a vibrant setting. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were given a table with a beautiful view of the ocean. The service persons were so nice and accommodating and the food was delicious. Overall a wonderful way to experience our anniversary dinner.
