The tasting menu is absolutely fantastic, the service was wonderful and a conversation with the chef at the end of the night was the icing on the cake. Fantastic experience, extraordinary food, and wonderful ambience.

Golden Bear Station is an Italian American restaurant that offers a unique perspective through the lens from the owners of Animo and Mu Ramen.

Mu Ramen and Animo owners Joshua Smookler and Heidy He have received exceptional recognition, including a prestigious 2-star review from the New York Times in 2015. The New York Times also dubbed them as the best ramen in NYC, while Eater named them the best ramen in America in 2016. Animo, on the other hand, has been praised by the San Francisco Chronicle and recognized as one of Esquire's Best New Restaurant in America in 2022. Both restaurants have earned a place and acknowledgement in the Michelin guide.

Golden Bear Station strives to encompass the essence of a local establishment and a haven for aficionados of wine and gastronomy. It serves as a gathering place where individuals flock to savor pizzas, pastas and seasonal delicacies.

Golden Bear Station is a tough reservation to get for a reason. The dining room is small and intimate, the service excellent and the food delicious! Everything from salads to pasta is fresh with elevated flavors and I haven’t had a boring dish in three visits.

Located just off Sonoma Plaza, Cafe La Haye offers an appealingly unfussy sophistication. The split-level dining room holds just a dozen or so tables, but its open kitchen, raftered ceiling and walls adorned with modern art create a vibrant energy that’s contagious.
Convivial owner Saul Gropman and chef Jeffrey Lloyd make a formidable team. Lloyd, former executive chef of restaurant Michael Mina, offers a seasonal menu that’s discreet in its complexity, featuring the sort of dishes that seem to get better with each bite.

Fume Bistro is a locals neighborhood restaurant, nestled north of downtown Napa, off of HWY 29. We are an American bistro with French, Italian and Mediterranean influences. We like to call our food simple, honest and seasonally correct. To accompany the food, we offer an eclectic wine list which is primarily, but not limited to California wines. Comfortable, friendly service. Attention to detail. Terrific food in a great atmosphere. Come on in, let's eat!

Please note that our covered, heated terrace is open all year and super 'dog friendly' during lunch and brunch hours - during dinner in the colder months we enclose the terrace and it's considered part of the dining room. Cool bar with relaxing natural feel. Num num wings were excellent as was the trout although a bit pricey for the portion. Cocktails were tasty and refreshing.

The oakwood smoker fills the restaurant with aromas of BBQ baby back ribs, Wood Oven Duck, and our Oooeee Smoked Pork. Specialties include Seared Ahi Tuna on sesame crackers and Crispy Calamari tossed with curried slaw. Our server Josh was on-point! THE most amazing dining experience we’ve ever had. The short ribs were unbelievable! If it was allowed…I would have licked my plate. Bravo Napkins, Bravo. We’ll be back, that is a certainty.
