Our dinner at The Mono Inn was amazing, as always. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. Since we are vegans, we asked in advance for a vegan meal. The dinner that was prepared for us was nothing short of fantastic. The view of the lake was stunning. We love this place! We will be back again.

Great mushroom appetizer. Their endive salad is very good. They did run out of the duck and scallops pretty early so I ended up getting the trout which was very good just needed a little more sauce. Service was good also. They were short staffed but the waiter and the hostess were hustling, making it happen.

One of the most beautiful dining experiences anywhere in the Sierra. The food is stunning and incredibly tasty….the elk is always delicious, the duck is crispy and well seasoned. The wine list has almost everything to meet anyone’s palate. If you’re lucky enough to have Jen as your server you will also get some great sierra knowledge and conversation.

We are repeat customers. The food was great. Our server, Sam, gave us great recommendations. We loved everything. The portions are a bit small but very flavorful. We still have a hard time with the entrees all coming out at different times. While this ensures that everything is fresh an hot, unless you are sharing entrees it is awkward for some to be eating and others to be waiting.

Great food and experience! Highly recommended the Sunset Dining. Currently off season but I made a reservation. Happy I did because it was pretty busy especially for a Wednesday in October. Book ahead! We look forward to our next meal here.

We eat two times in the restaurant of the hotel and everything is was perfect. The food very good and we spend a good time particularly if you can eat outside.

We celebrated our 20 th anniversary there. We were last there 21 years ago and it is still a great place. The food and service were great!!!
