The spring edition prix fixe menu was hit and miss. The filet mignon was cooked to specification but the crab stuffed lobster was a bit tired and seemed to lack much lobster. The service and staff were impeccable and took very good care of us.

They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. First timer, I ordered the black and blue New York steak medium rare and it came out medium! The truffle mac n cheese was flavor less and dry. The only thing worth eating were the carrot and zucchini on my plate and even that was greasy! I may try again in hopes they can get it right.

Came across this just googling restaurants in Modesto to take my guy out for his bday. Their menu had a lot of options that I thought he would like. We went for lunch and were the only ones there at first so I appreciated that it was quiet. Very nice ambiance. Our server was quick and friendly. We got 2 appetizers along with complimentary bread, our entrees and wine. Everything we ordered tasted great and fresh. The prices were very reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend.

We were seated promptly which was great but I feel we were not checked on regularly like the others. Towards the end our meal we asked for more bread since the waitress was dropping off the check already she said we charge for bread to go. If she had checked in us before we could have had the bread with our meal. We paid, we were ready for her to come back to pick up the tab, she never did so we grabbed out to go boxes and left. On our way out we asked for a bag for our boxed items and bread we had been charged for and packed it ourselves. We were a quiet couple but that doesn’t mean we don’t deserve the same service. We left feeling downhearted as we like to frequent this establishment. Our appetizers were brought out by a young man, our entrees were brought out by a different server so all our server did was get us drinks. She checked on us once at the end to charge us extra for bread.
