One of our preferred special night out restaurants. Excellent service. Food is top quality with nice presentations. Only quibble would be wines by the glass. The choices are decent but not as creative as what you might get from an independent restaurant of the same caliber. Pours are ok but not generous. Staff is excellent and love the live music. Will go again for another special night out.

Great dinner for my birthday. Best Waygu steak with black truffle butter is a gem. The bacon creamed spinach was perfect and Brussel sprouts were tender as well. Oh and the blackened red snapper was cooked to prefection! The butter cake is my favorite as well 10/10 well comeback to try other items.

Everything I had heard about this place just not true! (Overpriced, average, stuffy) turned out to be one of if not the best dining experience I have had in Birmingham. The meal was great and reasonably priced. The Chicken Picata was almost as good as the Lamb Chops. We tried an assortment of appetizers octopus, meatballs, and shrimp. Mare will be a go to place.

Our server was great. The food came out Luke warm and was just good. Nothing to rave about for the price. It was not noisy because it was early.

Started out with cocktails, had a nice selection of summr choices. Our meals were well prepared and delicious—stuffed fish, shrimp, filet mignon and ahi poke bowl. Prior to dinner enjoyed the clam chowder and lobster bisque very much. Excellent desserts—creme brûlée, chocolate cake and key lime pie. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us great suggestions plus she was accommodating and attentive. Our Monday Labor Day dinner at Mitchell’s Fish Market Rochester was a very pleasant experience. We drove from Toledo Ohio to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was well worth the drive! The food was EXCELLENT! Our server was very attentive and personable! We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young lady and we will definitely return! We’re seeing Gladys Knight on the 16th and will reserve a table for lunch.
