The food, (Halibut), was excellent and the service was impeccable. Our server, Ciro, was attentive, not obsequious, and very pleasant. From the minute we walked in the door, from the hostess to the bartender to our table, we felt welcomed and seen. Very rare these days. The decor is a tad tacky Italian-American but it was a wonderful experience.

Walking up the front steps you hear the creak of the original floor boards, and as you enter through the large Colonial doors you may find yourself twisting the old fashioned hand crank doorbell. Every detail of the building is historical, and every picture hanging on the wall gives you a glimpse of what life was like in the 1800’s.Along with our passion for keeping history alive, we also have an even greater passion for food. We’re in Newark briefly at an airport Hampton awaiting a flight today, having flown up yesterday to mitigate the likelihood of missing a connection. It’s a bleak area of grim row houses in the shadow of hulking shipyards, but I found us an orchid of a restaurant poking out of the muck. We supped on fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta, fresh bread with garlicky olive oil, and halibut oreganato over sumptuous couscous. Then coffee and homemade tiramisu. If you ever find yourself in a layover at EWR, I recommend Del Porto on Elizabeth Avenue in Elizabethport. It is exceptional!

Came in to Leblon for my birthday, it was truly a great experience. Steak was delicious, service was top tier, and ambiance was amazing. I had a party of 9 guests and the servers were very efficient and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it. Fresh ingredients, house-made soups and chowders, comfort food with a twist freshly prepared to order were all musts! Features unique to New England were the foundation – Ipswich Belly Clams (aka steamers, softshells, pissers), fresh Lobster Roll, a Raw Bar with half-shell oysters and clams and, of course, live Lobsters arriving regularly. Lighthouses and other nautical décor highlight the ambience to create a coastal dining experience like none other in the greater Lehigh Valley.
