Nektar is a wine, beer, and whiskey bar located in the heart of New Hope Pennsylvania. This intimate bar across from the Bucks County Playhouse provides a great place to enjoy a bite to eat before or after the show. In the winter, you’ll find Nektar to be a warm place to settle in with a whiskey to warm your insides, or a glass of wine to appreciate with selections from our charcuterie. Ask one of our servers to help you select the perfect wine, beer or whiskey to accompany any of the delicious items on our food menu.

Meant for sharing, our chef creates wonderful small plates from products sourced from local farms and suppliers. Small plates, sandwiches, salads, charcuterie meats, artisanal cheeses and desserts provide something for just about any time of day.

The quality of all 4 dishes at our table were creative with seasonal vegetable focus. They were then prepared by someone who has skills and a light hand. It was fresh and innovative. Our cocktails were well crafted and designed. Thank you!

Husband and wife owners, Massimo Schiavon & Antoinette Borromeo, provide an extension of their home to guests. A few of their signature dishes are Trofie Pesto Genovese, Rigatoni Bolognese and a Pasta on the Wheel. Other delights include a Tuscan Roasted Half Chicken, Grilled Whole Branzino, and a beautifully presented Pot of Mussels.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu.
The 30 foot bar that can accommodate up to 14 people for cocktails or dinner, as well as an authentic Italian happy hour - Appertivi from Tuesday - Thursday.
The inviting patio provides outdoor dining on weather permitting evenings.
Massimo's 30 years of Food & Beverage experience in Italy and New York City shows in his hand selected wine list and speciality cocktails.

Great meal with delicious flavors in a very historic building in Glen Gardner. The service was timely and pleasant from all of the staff. Ashley the owner came to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary and gave us a brief history of the inn. Thanks to all. We will be back!

Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton—the women behind Canal House Station—are cooks, writers, and artists. In 2007 they founded Canal House, which includes a publishing venture and a culinary, photography, and design studio. Their cookbook "Canal House Cooks Every Day" received a James Beard Award in 2012.

In 2019, Christopher and Melissa opened Canal House Station, a hidden gem tucked into an elegantly restored 1870s train station on the banks of the Delaware River in Milford, NJ. Their idiosyncratic, modern American cuisine is inspired by local ingredients that are ripe and in season in Hunterdon and Bucks County. They are two women, cooking together, and sharing their love of gathering people around the table to eat good food. They have been nominated twice for a James Beard Foundation “Best Chef: Mid Atlantic” award.

Canal House Station offers "Sunday Dinner" every Sunday. It is available for Private & Corporate Events, and Celebratory Gatherings throughout the year.
