Isley our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I enjoyed sharing the grilled artichoke appetizer. My barramundi special was wonderful as was my husband's pollo Della casa! All of the staff are very welcoming. Our whole dining experience was a pleasure!

This is not the first time we have eaten here. The food and service was on point. We miss the BYOB aspect of the dining experience. But love the fact that the menu is ever changing. One of the reasons we vacation in Cape May is Peter Shields

Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water.

Sushi was delicious.... the noise level was really loud. I was at a 2 top and we really had to lean in and talk much louder than usual to each other to carry on a conversation. Our server was excellent.

Overall, it was a nice experience. I've never been here before and chose to make a reservation on a whim. It's very close to the Cape May waterfront and I could nearly see the ocean from my table. They catered to my desire for a mocktail instead of alcohol and it was lovely. The cranberry apple salad was very good, maybe a tad overdressed and the chocolate ice cream hit the spot. My entree though, for the cost, wasn't quite a hit with me; it wasn't bad but didn't "hit the spot" so to speak. I'd go again, because it wasn't a bad experience and maybe it was just a one off (or the meal just wasn't what I wanted). You will have to pay for parking, but it's worth a try.
