Pros: Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Cons: wine list is disappointing- a very limited selection and virtually all were WAY overpriced.

If you have not tried this place yet, you must! You will not regret it! The food is sooo goooodddd!!! I can’t get enough! My favorites are the hot honey thighs appetizer, chipotle popcorn, mango margarita, steak frites with garlic mash potatoes, the Americano burger, the sliders, the steak sandwich and my all time favorite….the Brussels sprouts!!! You must try the Brussels sprouts. I don’t even like Brussels sprouts that much but these are amazing!!! I tried almost everything on the menu and I have not been disappointed yet.

In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally-grown grains to a nearby bakery that supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries.

Inspired by Joseph Haviland’s noble efforts, the Haviland Kitchen & Bar has been established for our neighbors. A place for our community to gather and share food and drink that are crafted of the finest in-season regional ingredients.

It is a great place. Had the wings, fried burrata appetizers, Did a Caesar salad for the table. For mains, we had the duck special, the rigatoni and the tuna. The duck was exceptional and the other mains were just as good. The service is great. Kat is especially wonderful.
