An exceptional dining experience. immaculate and friendly service and the food was simply incredible. Two of us shared two different fish dishes - salmon and haddock - which were both tremendous. In fact the haddock may have been the best I've ever had! Super highly recommend this restaurant.

! We are located directly across from City Hall at 55 Washington Street, there is a black gate with a Roots sign on it and you will find us 20 yards into a park called Center Street Marketplace, the restaurant has limited visibility from the street. !

Tom did an amazing job keeping pace with us even as people arrived at our table sporadically over the space of an hour. Given it was a beautiful night to eat out side, the patio was packed and very busy, but Tom kept up with everything perfectly and ensured that all 6 of us were well taken care of all evening. It was especially nice to have Sherman and the Bonfire playing as that added so much to the ambience. It would be great to have them back again as soon as possible.

Love that the menu changes seasonally! We all tried differant appetizer ( the special was pasta pockets with ramp , yumm!) The mushroom caramelized onion flatbread is always a croud pleaser! Entrees of Branzino with fennel, perfect! ( whole fish. but nicely deboned)
