About the restaurant
The Bradley Inn, on the point close to the Pemaquid Lighthouse, is one of the finest restaurants in the area, which is open to the public, serving gourmet food made from local and sustainable fare.

The dining room exudes casual elegance with its wooden tables, blue glassware, and soft nautical lighting, looking out towards the back gardens.

Designed with a nautical theme, the tavern is warm and inviting, with its shiplap walls, wooden ship models, and muted lighting.

Chef Ross Moskwa is known for his soups and a menu that incorporates a flavor profile that is somewhat unique to the area. He is a master at providing Gluten Free foods, plus accommodating other food allergies and preferences. He knows the struggle personally so understands the importance of avoiding cross contamination and how to offer delicious foods that meet our guests needs.

Enjoy your meal with a signature cocktail, a craft beer or wine from our extensive wine menu. Non-alcoholic options available.

Excellent place with ambience and an unusual menu beautifully prepared and well-served. Portions are generous; the ingredients are fresh and often novel; the dishes transcend the predictable down-east fare; and prices are reasonable for the quality provided.

As always the dining experience at Franny’s was wonderful. From cocktails to appetizers to entrees to dessert it was superb. The service was attentive and thoughtful in spite of it being a busy Friday night. Huge thanks to Jen for adjusting my reservation time. I really appreciate the accommodation. And I have to add that I always enjoy the ambiance and music at Franny’s- great playlist.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening on a quiet Thursday after the tourists were gone. Nice window table, excellent waiter - Austin - who was friendly and helpful in his descriptions of the various dishes. Getting a taste of the wine before deciding on a full bottle was great. Seafood risotto was spiced just right, the harissa broth not overpowering. I enjoyed 2 starters for my meal since the lamb chops and the sea scallops sounded equally enticing. Blueberry pancakes cotta topped out evening, a nice lighter dessert, though the blueberries on top weren't the classic Maine blues.

About the restaurant
The Islesford Dock Restaurant & Gallery is just that - a restaurant and gallery on a dock on Islesford, Little Cranberry Island, Maine. We have a large greenhouse right out back that produces a good amount of our produce, source our lobsters from the fisherman's co-op just next door, and use Gulf of Maine seafood almost exclusively. The menu is rounded out with naturally raised meats and chicken and the service is casual but professional, warm and inviting. Make sure you get out to Islesford Dock while you're here in the area by taking the Beal & Bunker mail boat that makes multiple trips back and forth every day or take one of the several other tour boats out.

We are closed Mondays throughout the Summer. Starting in September we will be open for dinner service only, and we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Season ends October 1st.

We had the most magical night here. It was our anniversary and we’re staying in bar harbor. We took the 4:30 mailboat (Beal and bunker pier) from north east harbor which was super cute, lots of locals headed out to the island and was $35 each, round trip and you can pay right on the boat, no reservation required in the off season. Beautiful ride through the islands that brought us to the dock right next to the restaurant. We arrived around 5:15 and had brought a bottle of wine and walked along the beach before returning to the dock for our 6:30 reservation. We sat inside with an incredible view of the sunset. The lobster poutine herb fries were one of the best things I’ve ever had. Well come back next year just for that! And the lobster roll and fish of the day were phenomenal. The staff were all super nice and we adored our server, Precious. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to chat with us about the island. After heading outside to watch the sunset we hopped on the mailboat home and the stars were unreal. One of the best views I’ve ever seen. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It truly felt like we stepped into a page in a fairytale and we will remember our night forever!

As always one of our favorites. Menu choices galore. Efficient caring service. Quality preparation and flavor. Mussels, salad, meatloaf, painkillers and great carrot cake. Slightly disappointed there was no monkfish, neither in the chowder nor cioppino so I chose otherwise. Definitely a must try. We’ve enjoyed McKay’s for better than 2 years. So glad the 1896 structure was moved rather than torn down! Imagine the lost history.

I never expected such a world class restaurant to be hidden inside a college town hotel, but Noble makes a visit to tiny Brunswick, Maine worthwhile. The outdoor patio - with firepit - was a quiet, fenced-in oasis off a busy street, with propane heaters to extend the season into fall. The wine list is well-curated with unique by the glass or bottle selections at reasonable prices. Servers were friendly and eager to please. The menu is creative and superbly executed by its female executive chef, who sources from a lot of local and sustainable purveyors. We were blown away by everything we tried. Put this place on your dining bucket list!

When we arrived, we were offered an outside table however it was on the side of the restaurant and there were no other diners. We elected to accept the original table we had scheduled. First course salads were delicious! We then ordered our meals. One meal was Cioppino and the other was Chicken Piccata. The seafood stewwas very good and ample seafood was served with two thinly sliced pieces of focaccia. The piccata dish came with a a few pieces of chicken drowning in sauce. No pasta was offered with the piccata. When we asked about this, we were told the dish was not served with pasta. We then asked for a side of pasta to which we were told, we would be required to order a pasta entree if we wanted pasta. We rejected ordering another entree just to get some pasta. This soured the remainder of our meal experience, ate what we were served, paid our check and will never return! Very disappointed.
