About the restaurant
All the way back in 1955, the four sons of an immigrant millworker decided to take a chance. They opened a restaurant on Cumberland’s bustling Mendon Road with nothing to their names other than a shared dream and vision - fresh and local ingredients, prompt and friendly service, all to be had at an unbeatable value. They developed a motto and never steered away from it – “If you are not proud of it, do not serve it!”. That restaurant was the original Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille, and that motto can be found hanging in each of our kitchens to this very day. While times change, our values don’t. As a third generation, family owned and operated company, our food is still made fresh in our commissary 7 days a week and delivered to each of our locations daily . Same ingredients, same recipes, same classic food that Rhode Islanders have come to know and love since our grandfathers first opened our doors nearly 70 years ago!

After 6 years and two coffeeshops, we present to you our first full service restaurant. Kaffeology in Cranston is a unique restaurant offering elevated brunch plates, cocktails, and mainplates for dinner. Our focus is on fresh, quality ingredients which is why we pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen. Every dish is carefully prepared and made to order just for you. Inspired architecturally by Sedona Arizona, the interior of the space transports you out of Rhode Island and into a plant filled, desert oasis. Our brunch is served every day until 4pm with dishes such as our famous creme brulee French toast, chimichurri skirt steak platter, fried chicken eggs benny, or lemon blueberry pancakes. Our coffee is organic, single origin, and freshly roasted in Boston! The creme brulee latte and brown sugar rosemary, among many others, are made with carefully crafted syrups made in house. At night the cafe transforms into a dinner restaurant but some brunch options are still available! Top review

Leo’s was first opened in 1948 by Italian immigrants Pantaleone (Leo) Mancieri and his wife Virginia (Nonni). Established mainly as a pizzeria in the State Street section of Bristol, the restaurant quickly gained a local following and served as a popular lunch destination for workers and families alike. Leo and Virginia, along with sons Mario and Reno, worked tirelessly to produce great fresh Italian favorites and create a friendly environment for their customers.The original Leo’s remained open until 1976 when the family decided to close after Leo passes away, and in the year 2000 Leo’s grandson, Paul Mancieri, relocated to 365 Hope Street in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. Paul and his wife Adriana pride themselves on bringing back the spirit and the recipes of the pizzeria ran by Leo and Nonni. Welcome to Leo’s Ristorante! Enjoy our family recipes, preserved for three generations and plated with care and love by Paul, Adriana and their staff.
