Good can’t be reinvented. La Catarina has its place in regional history as a back bone of fine Mexican cuisine, period. Tatemate is the natural evolution of a well preserved concept supported on professional and service oriented staff at a unique designed format to serve any party size. Honoring all time classics in its menu and introducing personal approaches of must haves, Tatemate is a breeze of fresh air spiced with tradition and seasoned with great taste. Although they didn’t had one of our dishes available, they made their best to compensate and offer an alternative using basically the same ingredients. We were notified about this prior to even cooking it and upon our approval they rushed it in. This kind of attitude is what differentiates good from excellent.
