Vien: And I grew up on Wolff Cres.
It's where we met and when our journey all began. This is why we created this place so we can all meet you here.
Imagine a small bar in Asia, whether it be Japan or Hong Kong. Off the beaten track meaning somewhere where you wouldn’t think you’d find us. A place you’d step into and feel like it’s not something that’s on the Gold Coast.
A cosy intimate space that transports you into another time, that will immerse you in flavours that are true and authentic, full of heart and soul from everything we loved eating growing up in Canberra and from our travels from all over Asia.
Our space will allow you to reminisce about your old school days from the music we play or your travels to Asia from the flavours in our dishes, we would like you to feel a sense of belonging, a connection that will take you back to where we ‘all’ came from.

Our family escaped war torn Lebanon during the civil war of 1975 and settled in Australia. Like many before us seeking a peaceful life, Australia welcomed us with open arms, and right from the moment we arrived we called this beautiful, sacred land our home. Our passion in cuisine became part of our everyday life while growing up in Australia. The Syrian and Lebanese backgrounds in our parents’ heritage meant we were influenced by world-class cuisine and culture.

My partner and I walked into a gorgeous cosy restaurant tonight. We were welcomed by a wonderfully vibrant maître d who provided exceptional service to cater to our every need. Arrived from Rome in 2014, the Mancini family decided to change their lives and embark on a new and exciting adventure in Australia. After several experiences as Chefs in Italy and also in Australia, Valentina and Otello decide in 2019 to return on the market with a singular hospitality concept that had already been successful in Rome since 2010 . Radici Pasta House, in Italian language “Radici” means roots indicating the intention to offer a cuisine deeply rooted in Italian food culture with a modern accent and an extreme attention to the overall experience. Head Chef Marco Minore, who also joined Radici Pasta House in 2019, with his menu has contributed to giving life to this project which, in addition to the particular chef table seats around the bar, represents something unique in Gold Coast and beyond.
