We wanted a local restaurant with a different flair on food, we achieved this at El Porton being a Spanish Restaurant. Food was delicious and yes there is a great wine list but all in the expensive range. Overall enjoyed our meal and will definately come back.

We had the tasting menu with the superior wines. The tasty morsels were superb and superbly presented. Most of the wines were excellent. What makes it all outstanding, however, is the extraordinarily welcoming and well-informed servers. I would add that I considered the price very reasonable indeed for what was delivered and how it was delivered.

Food was great. Steak sublime but very noisy with louder music from the bar area impacting the ability to hear across the tables- seated next to the main door. Only one handicap lot for the whole building - WTH?

From the spring rolls , rib eye steak, Moreton bay bugs and coral trout they were all outstanding dishes. Edgar our waiter was personable, attentive and had a great sense of humour. It was a fantastic experience all round and we would highly recommend.
