We had apps prior to the Cirque show (which was amazing), then dinner afterward. Drinks were amazing, can't recall the names but everyone enjoyed what they had. Guacamole was outstanding. Not sure what it made so much better here than other restaurants on the Vidanta site but we all agreed. Entrees were very good, we all tried different things. I had the Chile Verde Tamales w/chicken. Loved the masa, the rest was good. I'm prefer pork but this was the only one they had. If you love this kind I'm sure you would be very happy with it. The tacos are never a bad choice. The stuffed cheese was interesting (strange combo of ingredients) but worked great together. The service was impeccable. Can't say enough there. Our waiter, Alberto was the best. And the ambiance - can't say enough. Beautiful, outdoor and a nice breeze as well. The band that played in the evening was great. Lead woman singer was FANTASTIC. I'd go for drinks and apps to just listen to the band.

Outstanding. Dealt with difficult food allergies wonderfully. Everyone in our large party was very happy and all enjoyed their meal and drinks! If ever return to Riviera Maya will absolutely go to La Cantina!

I was kinda bummed that on a Monday there wasn’t anything lively happening since when we walked by on Wednesday night it was so packed and everyone was dancing. Overall it was good but if you want to party and dance go on the weekend to be safe.

It was a brilliant night, the service was quick, nice extra touches such as name tags and option to join in with games and songs. Didn’t like the balloon man who made us something and then took it away as we didn’t tip but gave everyone else in the bar ine
