When we took over The Legal Eagle, we inherited some of the glorious features, and the building really spoke to us of old-fashioned pub-grub. We looked to the old traditions of pickles, roasts, meaty joints & braises and knew we should honour our traditional lexicon of producers where possible and also allow our guests to enjoy a lighter style of dining.

We make our own crisps, croqueta, our own Scotch eggs (they're really delish), and supporting our burgeoning salumi and farmhouse cheese industry with platters of cold cuts. We are smoking our own spuds and have a local vegetable grower growing to our needs !

We are crazy about beer, whiskey and gin but wine is where we started and it remains a driving force for us. We have a stellar cocktail and wine list written with love and care

We have an ever so slightly more formal dining room upstairs, which is also great for events, weddings, private parties and get-togethers and hugely popular with industry folk. Can't wait to see all!

Visit us at Wallace’s Taverna, Italian restaurant, pizzeria and winebar, conveniently located in Dublin’s Italian quarter and overlooking the river Liffey and Temple Bar.
At Wallace’s restaurant we invest our time in finding the best Italian and Irish products dealing directly with the producers and sharing our passion with them.
We proudly import many Italian awarded ingredients like artisan cheese from “Beppino Occelli”, stone pressed organic flour Petra from “Molino Quaglia” and pasta “Gentile” from Gragnano, recognised internationally as the city of pasta, cherry tomatoes “Piennolo” del Vesuvio.
The result is our seasonal menu, created by our head chef Domenico Santo, a mix of traditional and modern Italian cuisine, with great respect for recipes, products and territory.
Our passion for finding the best produces extends to our winelist, with nearly 100 wines on the shelve, as well as our awarded craft beers, all imported directly from small producers in Italy.

Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch, Brunch (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays) and dinner. Ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Sizzling Prawns and Beef Tartare to start. A selection of Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, Centre Cut Fillet, Tomahawk Ribeye for two, and John Stone's T-Bone for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Pan-Seared Monkfish and delicious desserts such as Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Posto raffinato, rooftop con vista sul fiume. Cibo di livello, ottimo servizio e tempi di attesa brevi. Qui si va per la carne e un aperitivo fatto bene.

The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. We hope we do it well.

Menû con ampia scelta sia si pesce che carne oltre ai classici burger o altri “classics” Kids menu super fattibile con diverse scelte e ottimo presso €10 a piatto. Ottimi anche i dolci Personale super cordiale ed efficiente ❤️
