* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

A beautiful evening and amazing dinner. The service was perfect. They had a live violinist playing music in the table areas. Lo’s season has mariachis on the weekends so unfortunately we were on a Monday and missed them. A great restaurant for fine dining in PV!

I have to start by saying that our waiter, David, was incredible! I also have to agree with other reviews that the atmosphere is perfect for pictures! Such a cool spot! I can’t give it a 5 because the food wasn’t great (except the chocolate cake, that was incredible). It wasn’t bad by any means but it wasn’t great and our drinks were good but again, not great. We both agree we would go back for the ambiance, as long as David was our waiter! And we’d also recommend it as a great spot for tourists to see the “old city” of Puerto Vallarta.

MARCUS and Rosendo were excellent servers. The food was fantastic. I had the risotto with the lobster salad and mashed potatoes. My girlfriend had salmon excellent cook and they sure know how to make a good lemon drop anyone going will not be disappointed.

This is a remarkable international restaurant in Puerto Vallarta since 1973 for its outstanding quality, service & unique romantic ambiance. This four level restaurant is situated on the rooftop of Hotel Suites La Siesta, nestled on a hillside in the center of downtown Puerto Vallarta & only three blocks from the Malecón & beach. Each of the four floors are distinctive, offering two open air terraces as well as two inside salons one of which features a baby grand piano & our pianist playing romantic tunes all evening long. The most impressive attribute of this restaurant is the 360º view that is truly unparalleled & offers striking vistas of the entire bay & city of Puerto Vallarta. The specialties of the house include giant sautéed prawns, Caesar salads & select cuts of choice beef.
