* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

This was our third experience dining here and every time it’s absolutely amazing. The views and ambiance of the restaurant are amazing, the service is impeccable and the food is delicious! We’ll dine here every time we visit! Highly highly recommend!

The service was amazing from the time we walked in the door and were greeted. The views were the best we have ever experienced at a restaurant. They also had violin players which we thought may be a little annoying but they ended up being very fun and enjoyable. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall we could not have had a better experience!

Perfect place for our final meal in PV before going home. Excellent food, well presented while we watched sunset from their open air dining room. The sauces on the dishes were so flavorful and the fish and seafood were cooked perfectly. And as we finished the main course, the mariachi band started their set. We enjoyed dessert and coffee while watching the 45+ minute performance. There was no pressure to rush and leave. Our friends who live in PV recommended the restaurant and they were right.

This is a great place for a quiet, relaxed, fine dining experience with a fabulous view of the city! The service was excellent and the food top-notch. And there are plenty of options for those who don't want steak.

We had a fantastic dinner with an unparalleled view right on the water. We watched the sun set and the whales playing in the water. The waitstaff was perfection! They were well informed, bright, friendly and quite humorous. This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant and we will be back again.

Love this place! We had a table of 5. Our reservation was about 30 minutes before sunset. The view is amazing! Our waiters were Carlos and Erik. They were so helpful. One of our guests needs to eat dairy free and they made adjustments for him. The entire staff was super friendly and fun!!! The only thing you should be aware of is the amount of stairs. There are a lot! Overall, one of the most beautiful and yummy places to eat in Puerto Vallarta!!! Carlos and Erik are the best!!!!
