I had an amazing date night with my wife! The food and service were top-notch. The host was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, without being too overbearing. Definitely recommend if you are I the area.

Allen, die Lust auf ein bisschen Abwechslung auf ihrem Teller haben, empfehlen wir einen Besuch im Kaizen. Zu finden in der Kölner Lindenstraße, gleich neben dem Hiroshima-Nagasaki-Park und nur wenige Schritte zu Fuß von der U-Bahnhaltestelle Moltkestraße entfernt, kannst du dich auf frische und nach Originalrezepten zubereitete Köstlichkeiten der japanischen Küche freuen. Das Kaizen in der Neustadt-Süd beweist auf leckere Art und Weise, dass die Kulinarik Japans viel mehr zu bieten hat als Sushi (wobei es dies hier selbstverständlich auch in abwechslungsreicher Auswahl gibt). So kannst du dich unter anderem gegrillten Lachs oder gegrilltes Hühnerfleisch in Teriyakisauce, Jakobsmuschel in Tempurateig oder Algensalat freuen. Natürlich ist auch an authentische Desserts gedacht. Im Angebot im Kaizen: Matcha Eis, Eis aus schwarzem Sesam oder frittierter Reiskuchen.

So interessant wie seine baskisch orientierte Küche mit ihren charakteristischen Pintxos-Spießen präsentiert sich ein neues gastronomisches Angebot im Kölner Agnesviertel – das „Ritter Wülfing“. Den Namen verdankt das jüngst eröffnete Restaurant seinen beiden Gründern: Peter Ritter, bereits als Betreiber von „Gottes Grüne Wiese“ und des „Pegels“ bekannt, und Fritz Wülfing. In der Weißenburgstraße 32, also in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Neusser Straße und der Agneskirche gelegen, setzen sie kulinarisch einen neuen Schwerpunkt. Die Vielseitigkeit der pointierten Speisekarte greift hin und wieder, aber nicht ausschließlich Spezialitäten der französisch-spanischen Grenzregion auf. Wie Tapas lassen sich die Kleintellergerichte beliebig kombinieren, als Happen zu einem Glas Bier oder Wein an der Theke verspeisen oder am Tisch mit Freunden teilen. Darüber hinaus reicht das Angebot von Fisch über Fleisch bis hin zu vegetarischen/veganen Leckereien.

An absolute must if you are in Cologne. Great view, good food and service. Tip: Don't go for the wine package as the sommelier is not very generous. Better order 1 bottle for the same price. The sommelier is very knowledgeable and has very good taste. Really trustworthy to recommend a good wine.

Truly excellent! One of the best meals we have had outside of a Michelin starred restaurant the food was delicious, service and ambience were top notch for a casual dining experience. Have already recommended to others. When we next return to Cologne we will be back!

A very nice restaurant, with very tasty food, also a lot of choice of vegetarian or vegan dishes. Special that food and drinks for children under 7 years old are free, and the menu for slightly older children is also very cheap. Close to a Tesla supercharger and cheap parking garage and not very far from the highway. We visited it for the first time as a stopover from winter sports home and would like to come back again when we are on the road or visit Cologne.
