Been here several times. The staff is very friendly and everyone in our family likes something on the menu. There are several Italian restaurants to pick from around here, but this is my favorite.

Das bedeutet für uns vor allem: kein Chichi, kein Schnickschnack oder Firlefanz. Stattdessen einfache, ehrliche Gerichte – diese dafür aber so perfekt wie irgend möglich. Mit den besten Zutaten, die man bekommen kann.

Deshalb stammen unser Mehl und unsere Öfen aus der Welthauptstadt der Pizza: Neapel.
Deshalb ist unsere Pasta frisch.
Deshalb kaufen wir den Thunfisch für unsere Gerichte frisch und garen ihn selbst.
Und deshalb backen wir unser eigenes Brot.

Das gilt natürlich auch für unsere Getränke: Der Kaffee für unseren Espresso wird extra für uns geröstet, die Liste unserer Weine ist handverlesen.

The Kronenhof is a multi-faceted, sustainable restaurant with its own, multiple award-winning brewery. The shiny, copper brewing kettles are the centerpiece in the brewery's guest room: here the fresh, natural beers are brewed using traditional, artisanal methods and the malt from the farms´ own malting barley.

We obtain our ingredients from selected regional suppliers and offer our guests fresh, regional cuisine that combines traditional and modern dishes.

Hessian classics and brewery specialties are also included on the menu, which is rounded off by seasonal recommendations and chef-selected dishes that reflect the season.
All of this is served in a unique ensemble: The Kronenhof is surrounded by lush greenery and is easy to reach. The beer garden, with its large chestnut trees, offers numerous sunny and shady spots and the little guests can have fun on the playground.

Great location, just by the river. Plenty of regular, veggie and vegan burger options, also loaded fries. The experience would've been better if there was a non-smoking area outside. The smoking neighbors really ruined the mood and the appetite. Just divide the outside in smoking and non-smoking side! It's not that difficult...

I usually go to the first Sushi Noir location in the city, which I prefer, this one is still beautiful, offers more space, sadly they have a "leave you alone until you call us" service mentality. The Sushi is good, but it's not as perfect as in the downtown area, still I will come here again when downtown isn't available since it's still good. It's just small details that bother me like for example too much sauce over sushi.
