Beautiful atmosphere, great food, and absolutely perfect service by Evelyn. Would recommend the filet mignon with steamed vegetables and turtle cheesecake to everyone.

Tasty food - we tried chicken fried steak for lunch. Sandwich was really good, salad very fresh, big servings (although husband might say adequate- hahaha). Not too busy mid-afternoon but apparently can be at peak times. Sweets case displayed huge pieces of cake, and lobby is rustic and cowboy decor (photo ops). Gift shop with Texas “stuff” had tourist-y items and elevated prices (imho)…but that’s the price you pay for atmosphere and reputation!

Great date night, our waitress was attentive and made some wonderful suggestions. The candied jalapeño margarita is probably the best I’ve ever had, the steak and sides were great and the live music created the perfect atmosphere.
