We are positively giddy with excitement to announce that we'll be opening this Autumn in bustling Peter Street! Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse.

We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

We had a gorgeous evening! From gin at the bar, to pig cheeks, steaks, apple crumble and an old fashioned to finish! Our sever was fantastic and we have a beautiful date night. Thank you!!

We had food from the 25th anniversary menu. Unfortunately the melon I wanted was ‘off’ but the mushroom bruschetta was lovely, as was the beef wagu lasagne I chose the foiled special dessert which looked inviting but was actually pretty disgusting- like eating a whole jar of Nutella in a choux bun. I really envied the panna cotta my friend had. The dessert wine only had one glass left so we had to share it. The service wasn’t up to its normal high standard. We’ll still enjoy eating there is future but were slightly disappointed yesterday.

The staff were super lovely, very attentive, helpful and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the seats are so comfortable. The menu has plenty of choice and the food when it arrived was delicious. My friend and I had a very enjoyable experience here and would happily recommend it to anyone.
