New Coast Kitchen is an intimate modern British restaurant in the centre of Croyde bay village. Since we started in October 2020 we have gone through a number of challenges and changes to get to where we are now. Our head chef and owner Martin Baylis is leading our team to create unforgettable dining experiences in North Devon and is looking to create a nationally recognised restaurant capable of achieving culinary accolades and bringing something special to the South West.

At The River Shack we are not interested in fuss or formalities, we simply want to provide you with delicious food and drink in a relaxed and beautiful setting.

You can dine right by the waters edge on sunny days, shelter in our waterside marquee on rainy ones, or relax by our log burner inside on the cooler days.

The views in themselves are worth the trip, but wait until you try the food! Our menus are creative, seasonal, rustic and delicious.

Along with the rest of our fantastic team, we look forward to meeting you down at the creek!

In 2017 Holly and Ali moved down to Plymouth for a new life away from London. Passion for all things pizza and years of hospitality life brought about Knead pizza.

Starting in Plymouth market and honing our skills to try and work out our perfect pizza. We moved into The LHA garden in 2019 due to that thing we wont mention and started cooking with flame. We got ever closer to cracking and adapting the truest of neopolitan style dough into a perfectly soft, neo neapolitan light and flavoursome crust.

Now after a stroke of luck we’ve moved to the amazing Prysten House 1498. It’s one of the oldest buildings in Plymouth built by Thomas Yogge, with a real Tuscan villa vibe and courtyard, Grade 1 listed and also the inspiration for Yogge our new pizza pal.

What a special place! The whole complex is extraordinary, but the dinner at The Farm Table is the real hot ticket. Filets not to be missed! The monkfish scampi was maybe the best I've ever had. Service impeccable.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Turf. It was really excellent. We loved the ferry ride there and back. The surroundings of the Turf with its beautiful views of the River Exe made it very special. The service was warm and welcoming. We loved the menu and the food was delicious. We felt it was good value and we will definitely be back next time we are in Devon.
