Fantastic venue nicely decorated and great atmosphere - very chilled with good music. Had the arancini and sourdough starters both excellent. The burrata pasta main and crab pasta main were both delicious. The Harry’s burger unfortunately was very dry and wouldn’t recommend. Would definitely return when next in Exeter.

With low ceilings, wonky walls, open fires and character in abundance. We are situated in the Dartmoor National Park just off the A30 between the market towns of Okehampton and Tavistock (both 10 minutes away) in the quiet, charming village of Lydford, just 200m from the entrance to the majestic National Trust site of Lydford Gorge. We are surrounded by invigorating walks, horse trails and national cycle routes, with cosy corners and roaring fires in the winter months and large beautiful gardens to enjoy in the summer, there’s something for everyone year round.

The pub has a main bar, snug, restaurant, heated and lit stretch tent, thirteen bedrooms and large beautiful gardens. Our menu features pub classics alongside British favourites, always seeking to make the very best of the fantastic produce on our doorstep.

Fantastic food and service as usual ,my only suggestion is please have a coffee that has a blend of Robusta beans and not 100% Arabica beans, I find 100% Arabica too flowerer and not strong enough , im sure with the turnover in coffee put through the whole establishment you could incorporate a blended coffee bean , there are lots of great ones out there, Arabica doesn't = better , This won't put me off coming again and again , I just won't have a coffee.

The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.

Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.
