About the restaurant

The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Had been wanting to try here for a long time, luckily managed to get a table today and it didn’t disappoint, really quality produce, beautifully cooked to perfection. Already planning to return.

Paparazzi is so lovely. The service is 10/10 and the ambience is so warm and welcoming. Only, and i mean only let down was our food was a little overcooked. But that would not stop is from returning again ;)

Food was delicious - the menu is fusion with a twist on various classics so was nice to try some new dishes. The service was good and decor lovely. Not the cheapest Indian I’ve had but worth the price. First time we’ve been here but would definitely go again.
