About the restaurant

The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Came to celebrate our anniversary on a camping trip to Leek. What a find! Absolutely fabulous experience. The food was exceptional, a superb pork “solomillo” with smoky pancetta lentils and braised fennel and as good a rib eye steak as I’ve had. Wine list was excellent with something for all tastes. The service was spot on, so good you didn’t notice it! Water filled without asking and everyone was happy at their work. The location worked too, period tile floors, big open windows. It’s a two hour drive from Halifax but we will be back soon.

Our 1st time at the Redmore & it was excellent. Staff are amazing, very friendly & helpful. We booked for a birthday meal & even had a birthday card waiting on our table which we thought was a lovely touch. Food was delicious. We will definitely go back 10/10

Zaazu is brilliant - Haven't been here for several years, since it was under the previous name of Simla, but that was also great food and service. However, the revamp looks amazing, food just as delicious as before, but a more creative menu, which has paid off - It was the best indian meal I've had since I can remember. Staff very friendly and attentively as always, will definitely be back and not leaving it so long next time! 10/10!
