About the restaurant
The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

This restaurant is under new management since Niall Keating left for pastures new. To bring them up to par they need to up their game with service and the front of house needs to speak to the kitchen. Our party were shown to the table served water then suddenly before our cocktails came our first course was served. We had not been given a wine menu or asked if we wanted any. We asked for our first course to be returned to the kitchen whilst we finished our cocktails, but they returned soon after. Following our last course we were not offered coffees or after dinner drinks. I feel they could have increased our bill by at least £100 . That's the secret of a successful restaurant. Turnover. Pull your socks up guys.

About the restaurant
Whether you’re popping in for brunch, meeting friends for lunch or wining and dining someone special, the Littleton Arms is the perfect blend of contemporary chic and old English charm.
Our locally sourced food, innovative seasonal menus and friendly and attentive service have earned us our reputation as one of the best independent pubs in Staffordshire.
We are renowned for our selection of contemporary and traditional ales and craft beers, our hand-picked wines, and extensive selection of gin and cocktails.
If that seems too much to get through in a day then we recommend booking one of our cosy hotel rooms, which have been sympathetically refurbished to evoke the original Georgian coaching inn while providing all the comforts of a modern hotel.

When we arrived the server was really nice and attentive. Our meals were really good. I had the vegan mushroom burger which was excellent. The only downside were the cakes. I decided I would take 2 slices of Bakewell Tart home with me, my mom wanted one slice. My mom got a normal sized slice, I got the same size slice cut in half to make two slices which was very strange. I didn't want to mention it as we were leaving and had such a nice time I didn't want to spoil the mood. Everything else was great and I would definelty like to come back and try the breakfast.
