The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Food was amazing. We were seated in a lovely private area as it was a birthday, was able to connect our own music to Bluetooth, which didn't disturb anyone else as we were in a glass room. Service was also very good and helpful staff to help choose off the menu

My second review for this wonderful restaurant - hope that's not considered cheating but Open Table have asked! This comes after my husband and I went for the third time whilst on holiday to their steak night. What can I say? The best steak I've ever had at a restaurant, perfectly cooked with outstanding sides. I believe the other half agreed. He had his third sticky toffee pudding and I the second chocolate delice. Delicious food at a very good price. Please open a branch in Norfolk!!!

I’d booked for my friends birthday lunch, the staff had dressed the table with birthday banners and a card and after our meal they brought a cup cake with a sparkling candle in it which we hadn’t asked for so was a lovely surprise and a lovely touch. Staff friendly and attentive , food really good and value for money. This is the second time we have been for lunch and will definitely be returning
