Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.
Special dietary requirements are all happily catered for. Please advise when making your reservation.

We had a fantastic main meal with excellent service. Dog friendly and a happy helpful vibe from all staff. We had a small upset over a choice of dessert which was not to standard but the staff were brilliant and listened to our issues. Would go again and recommend this pub

I’ll start with Tracey who served us all night. She was fantastic, great sense of humour, friendly and very approachable. I was unsure which ale I wanted, so Tracey allowed me to taste both, again excellent service. Three of us had the fish and chips, which for just under £16 was great value, everything was cooked to perfection. The other member of the group had the duck which was one of the best she’d ever had. Price wise it’s about average, but given the experience it was worth every penny. I look forward to returning ASAP

The Bell Inn has vastly improved under new ownership. Food delicious and staff were very attentive, offering the best service we have seen in a restaurant for quite a while. Would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful pub set in one of the prettiest villages in Suffolk, which also featured in the film ‘The Magpie Murders’. John & Barbara Cole

We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. Food - awesome. Absolutely faultless. Staff - amazing. Friendly and chatty and worth coming back to visit again. Atmosphere - calm (a weeknight) and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
