Wallis & Co is a modern Bar & Kitchen nestled on the picturesque setting that is Hartlepool Marina. Our aim is to provide a warm and cosy atmosphere for our customers to enjoy, and with a huge focus on quality in every aspect, we're sure your visit to Wallis & Co will be a happy one.

We serve lunch from 12pm till 5pm Tuesday to Saturday and evening service from 5pm till 9pm. Our Sunday lunch is served from 12pm till 4pm and from 5pm on a Sunday evening we offer Sunday evening menu.

Disclaimer- We are no longer taking reservations for OUTDOOR tables, they are first come first serve.

This is a lovely place. The staff were lovely. The food was delicious, especially the lamb dish. The chicken shwarmer was nice but could done with more chicken. This would of been 5 star all round if it wasn't for the fact we had to pay parking midway though. It was really foggy so didn't notice the signs in the carpark and only noticed a sign in the toilet. Not really the restaurant fault but it did spoil the atmosphere a little. We did notice a sign on the door on the way out however it was a nice sign that blended in with the decor. I see why this had been done but if it had looked more formal like a parking notice we would of noticed on the way in and therefore paid the parking before starting our meal. Thank you anyway for a lovely meal.

First time in this restaurant in Durham but won’t be the last. We received a warm welcome when we arrived even though it was busy. Services was very efficient without feeling rushed. The food choices were excellent, something for everyone. My other half is very fussy when it comes to meat and it’s always hit and miss but the chicken pot he had was delicious and he had no grumbles at all! The food was good value and excellent quality. Highly recommend.

The variation we had on the burger theme this time round was very good indeed. Extra delicious, if that were possible. The portions are very good, neither too much nor too little. The surface is efficient, polite, and cheerful.

Nice evening, we were made to feel welcome, and enjoyed our meal, There is only one chef and one member of staff so not sure how they would have coped if there had been more covers, both were working extremely hard.

we all had a lovely time dining with you on Sunday 15th. We have been to your restaurant on a few occasions now, newer had a problem. The food was of excellent quality but I was a little disappointed with the very little amount of beef that was on my plate. I ordered pink which was fine but the two thin slices were no thicker than sliced parma ham. A little mean for the price of the meal. It wouldn't put me off returning again but I feel it should be addressed. Thankyou Julie Middleton
