Beautiful restaurant, wide range of food & drinks. The cocktails are particularly good! Went with a party of 7 ladies & the reason why I give 4 stars for food is because one of our party says the food wasn’t as good as another restaurant she had been too, however still excellent! This is my second time I’ve visited & it’s a 5 star all round for me. One of my favourite places to eat now. Thank you for the wonderful service

The Grape Variety is a neighbourhood, independent wine bar, shop and restaurant, selling great wines and food from around the world, located just 2 minutes from Chipstead Railway Station.

We opened in the spring of 2018 with the aim that a wine bar should cater not just to experts, but to all, so we created one where our guests could unwind at the end of the day with a great wine in a warm, friendly and genuine environment, whilst getting sound advice about which wines to enjoy, as well as to take away.

For food, we offer quality artisan cheese and charcuterie, alongside dishes such as baked Camembert, bakery sausage rolls, hot chorizo and potato, hummus with a spicy sauce, Spanish pâté and the like. On Thursdays, enjoy our wood fired pizza pop-up and our legendary Quirky Quiz runs every other Wednesday. The most unique feature of YAKINIKU is that the meat will come to you RAW! You get to grill it all by yourself. We have a selection of traditional and complementary dishes to suit all including imported Japanese top grade WAGYU beef, British premium steak beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and a selection of vegetables, with our special home-made sauce.

We only want the best, so our grills are imported all the way from Japan. The best part of this is that with their unique cutting-edge technology alongside the down draft vent system, the smoke is sucked under the table and away from our guests so the grill is smokeless. This minimises the smokiness associated with similar grills allowing you to enjoy your dining experience at Sakura Yakiniku.

Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef David for a weekend breakfast, daily lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order.
