Our first visit to this pub The Cross House tucked away in the picturesque village of Doynton, The Cross House is a charming country pub that delivers a warm welcome and a proper taste of the West Country. With its classic stone exterior and inviting garden, it’s was the perfect spot for leisurely drink and relaxed meal with our friends. Been to this restaurant many times. Food, service, and general vibe of the place is always outstanding. Vast menu with dishes ranging £15-£25. Food is delicious and plenty to choose from. Great drinks menu. Staff are always lovely. Very good service and food times. Would absolutely recommend! 10/10

Fantastic evening. Service was excellent, they brought water for our dog and were attentive during our meal. The food was delicious, best vegan Indian meals we’ve had even compared to London.

This is the second time I and a group of friends have had such at the Griffin and once again we were not disappointed. The landlord is extremely friendly and welcoming and keeps his real ale very well. The food was, once again, delicious.

Loved this dinner. Great variety of food on the menu and all delicious. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. We were a family of 4 and it suited us perfectly for our overnight in Bath. Easy to walk to.

Me and my mum came for afternoon tea which was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the dairy free option which was so nice! The staff were very friendly and accommodating too. We enjoyed our experience so much that we visited the following day for a quick bite to eat and to take some cakes home with us. Highly recommend!

Robun is a tribute to Japanese author Kanagaki Robun and his 1872 book Seiyō ryōritsū, which introduced Western barbecue to Japan.

Our modern-day interpretation of Yakiniku specialises in sharing plates of beautiful robata grilled dished large plates fused with elements from across Asia, paired with inspired cocktails and an extensive choice of Japanese whiskeys or sake in the most inviting and sociable of settings.

Really enjoyed our evening at Robun. All the dishes were presented so beautifully and tasted amazing. Having visited Japan last year we can confirm that the food was very authentic. Friendly, attentive service also.
