At night for chic carnivorous gatherings, Windsor Grill on St Leonard's Road is a swanky little restaurant owned and run by Chef David Wilby. With its elegant interior and unpretentious British grill menu, this discreet restaurant is loved by locals and visitors from out of town alike, and the dining room is decorated with slate-coloured walls, gilt-framed paintings and leather seating giving it an atmosphere of dark glamour. Windsor Grill's menu is prepared with fresh ingredients, sourcing their aged beef from Surrey Farms, Iberico pork from Spain and Wagyu beef from Australia.

A wonderful restaurant with the friendliest staff I've encountered for a very long time. The meat was amazing and cooked to perfection, by far the best steak I've ever had in Berkshire and maybe all of the UK. The atmosphere and decor is nice and cosy. It's an independent restaurant with staff that really cares. I went for my birthday but will definitely go again, many times! If you like meat, I can't think of a better place to go.

Food is amazing! The pub itself is so deceptive, you walk up to the front expecting a tiny little place but when you walk alone the back it’s like a tardis, the set is amazing, they also have sofas to chill out out. The kitchen was amazing and basically cooked what wasn’t necessarily on the menu but if they had it, they would cook it. Really impressive. They also have a cute little play area for kids. Second time we have visited and it won’t be the last.

Burnt ends & chips are amazing! Great selection of sauces too. Mac and Cheese was the only let down, as it was very bland. Would return! 😊
