Our lively pizzeria is modest, modern and wonderful, seating 50 comfortably inside and with a relaxed outdoor area for you to enjoy the evening sun with an aperitivo and a slice in hand. Expect banging pizzas, fresh small plates, local beers and a carefully curated cocktail menu.

We’re a short walk from the train station and with Paddington less than 25 minutes away and Maidenhead being served by the new Elizabeth Line, London is on our doorstep. If you’re visiting from the capital, why not make a day of it and visit nearby Boulders Lock, Bray or Cliveden House?

Great food as always; a unique selection of pizzas at a reasonable price, fresh ingredients and always a different set of specials. Drinks menu is very much the same - always some specials with a good set of staple options. Let down on this occasion by very loud music. Not sure if this is always the case for a Friday evening, but conversation has never been difficult before. Service has usually been brilliant; and the staff have always given the impression of really enjoying working there. No problems on this occasion, but it didn’t quite have the same vibe which is a shame.

Located on King Street in the centre of Reading, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. They also have an accessible kids’ menu where children can get a meal and a drink for £5.50

The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. If you are looking for a great venue for a family get together, a working lunch, special occasion or a light snack we’d love you to join us.

Good quality food and freshly cooked - though could have been served warmer. Would also question value - £80 for two people on a single course with one glass of wine is chunky Also be good if the team cleared tables rather than stood around chatting - debris everywhere

Good choice of food. Portions were massive but food tasted so good. Nice choice of American drinks. Staff were attentive & friendly.
