The Kinneuchar Inn is a 17th-century pub and restaurant which champions great food in an intimate setting. We recently were awarded Best Local Restaurant in Scotland 2023 by The Good Food Guide.

We serve a daily changing 'a la carte' menu, based on ingredients sourced from the Balcaskie Estate and a handful of carefully curated partners. Our menus are seasonal and produce-led, aiming to highlight the quality of the ingredients.

Roo’s Leap Restaurant already has a great reputation… fresh ingredients cooked to order, and a friendly efficient service with a laid back Aussie attitude.Whether you’re looking for a great night out or you just can’t be bothered cooking, we’re sure we’ll have just what you’re looking for.

So what’s on the Menu? Well although we have an Aussie theme you’ll be pleased to know that Australians don’t typically eat Ostrich or Kangaroo… so neither do you! We have a fantastic international menu including our wonderful prime steak burgers, various warm sandwiches, steaks, salads, pasta dishes and, of course, our special “barbied” meat, chicken and fish dishes. We also have a number of vegetarian options. Our menu has over 50 dishes to choose from!

Please note we are dog friendly in our lounge during lunch hours only.

We have been coming to Roos for many years for special occasions and just good food nights out in general the food is always amazing the menu is outstanding and the service is always good as well as value for money. Best restaurant in the area for something to suit everyone and a good evening out for a social dinner. Thanks again for another fab family birthday dinner

A magnificent former church conversion which is now a licensed coffee shop, art gallery and events space. The William Morris floor to ceiling stained glass windows set the tone.... it's glamourous, comfortable and every detail has been considered. I thought this was a great experience, it was my first time and didn’t really know what to order, but the four of us decided to just get things to share, the food was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the cost was surprising, we were £102 for the four of us and we were all very full and satisfied, will definitely be back x

Great service by Morgan. Great food. Gambas was amazing and the sauce with the chorizo and black pudding was delightful. Chicken dishes were great as was the croquette and halloumi fries.

The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose. It really is an incredible setting for delicious dining.

Had a lovely meal, after my sons graduation. With the service and choice of food excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious with 6 out of 8 choosing different dishes so we had a lovely mixture. Would recommend a hidden gem, with beautiful surroundings, friendly and a lovely afternoon spent with family. Absolutely nailed it with the steaks, Dundee has been screaming out for a steak house for years and now we've finally got one and its excellent! Special mention for the onion rings, never tasted anything like it, batter crumbles in your mouth, 10/10

We were a large party of seven which is hard to find in the Dundee area. They were gracious enough to seed us and even the kitchen was a little slow, the food was amazing and the service was equally amazing!!
