The Kinneuchar Inn is a 17th-century pub and restaurant which champions great food in an intimate setting. We recently were awarded Best Local Restaurant in Scotland 2023 by The Good Food Guide.

We serve a daily changing 'a la carte' menu, based on ingredients sourced from the Balcaskie Estate and a handful of carefully curated partners. Our menus are seasonal and produce-led, aiming to highlight the quality of the ingredients.

Helmed by James Ferguson (formerly of The Connaught and East London eatery Beagle) and partner Alethea Palmer.

Friendly staff. Nothing too much bother. Light Bites great value for money with fillings to suit everyone. Atmosphere is good and allows privacy. Extensive menu with smaller portions options.

Roo’s Leap Restaurant already has a great reputation… fresh ingredients cooked to order, and a friendly efficient service with a laid back Aussie attitude.Whether you’re looking for a great night out or you just can’t be bothered cooking, we’re sure we’ll have just what you’re looking for.

So what’s on the Menu? Well although we have an Aussie theme you’ll be pleased to know that Australians don’t typically eat Ostrich or Kangaroo… so neither do you! We have a fantastic international menu including our wonderful prime steak burgers, various warm sandwiches, steaks, salads, pasta dishes and, of course, our special “barbied” meat, chicken and fish dishes. We also have a number of vegetarian options. Our menu has over 50 dishes to choose from!

Please note we are dog friendly in our lounge during lunch hours only.

I recently dined at The Selkie on Exchange Street in Dundee, and what a delightful experience it was! The cozy atmosphere immediately drew me in, offering a warm and inviting escape from the hustle and bustle outside. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic dinner. I opted for a selection of tapas, and every dish was a hit. The lamb and steak tapas were truly standout – perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The rich, savory taste of the lamb was a particular highlight, while the steak was cooked to perfection, delivering that satisfying melt-in-your-mouth sensation. Alongside these, the mussels were a treat, fresh and succulent with a deliciously rich sauce that had me dipping in for more. And, of course, no tapas meal is complete without patatas bravas! These crispy potatoes, paired with a tangy and slightly spicy sauce, were the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The staff at The Selkie deserve a special mention. They were attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was top-notch. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and their passion shines through in both the service and the quality of the food. If you're looking for a dining experience that's both comforting and memorable, The Selkie is definitely worth a visit. Had a lovely meal. Food was great, chorizo and black pudding, halloumi fries, chicken skewers (disappointed not served on skewers), chillie potatoes all very good. Highly recommend. Would certainly go again.

The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose. It really is an incredible setting for delicious dining.

Nice restaurant about 10 min outside of St Andrews. Seems very new and modern. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived, the service was prompt and the food was great.
