The Rustic Grill opened in December 2018 and is a family run business in the heart of Aberdeenshire. We pride ourselves in quality, locally sourced produce and presented as a professional but casual dining experience. Over the last few years we have expanded our menu to include modern small plates, fantastic brunch dishes and our own smoked ribs & pulled pork.

We were Friday June 27th at The Forbes Arms Arms Hotel. Very good services, nice and warm welcome, very good food and not expensive. If we are in the naberhood next year we will return!

Situated in the coastal village of Muchalls, just off the A90, and 10 minutes from Aberdeen and Stonehaven,The restaurant derives its name from the sea stacks located on the beautiful surrounding coastline.

It is brought to you and led by head chef and owner Andy Smart, who’s aim is to offer a flexible and relaxed environment where everybody is welcome.
Dogs are also welcomed too.(we have treats and water bowls for them!)
Award winning dining in a relaxed environment , the food style is seasonal and inventive and draws inspiration from international flavours, whilst using local suppliers, with an emphasis on simplicity, and where the staff are both friendly and professional.

We booked the Dunes Restaurant as a special lunch time treat for our daughter and husband on their 10th wedding anniversary. Our experience was wonderful. The food was fantastic and all the staff brilliant. I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars to such a great restaurant set in wonderful grounds.

Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill honours the Brazilian Gaúcho’s traditional method of cooking. This involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.
