An intimate Michelin Guide restaurant based in the heart of Masham - the gateway to The Yorkshire Dales. Listed after just 6 months of opening and having garnered many great write ups subsequently including a rare 5/5 in the Yorkshire Post.

The menu is written weekly, a fixed 7 course set menu (+ optional extras) that constantly evolves based on the best available produce. Sourced from a network of local artisan growers and farmers the aim is to put the best of the UK to your plate with a big focus on the surrounds of North Yorkshire.

Chef Jon Atashroo trained at numerous Michelin starred restaurants in London before discovering the simply joy of cooking with fire about 10 years ago and hasn't looked back since. Focused on producing everything possible in house, it is all made in house including the tables and ceramics.

For the morning market workers, the Saturday shoppers, the Nans and the steak fans. For all the hungry tigers who came to town. For walk-ins through the ginnel, and take-outs at the hatch. For candlelit dinners and proper Yorkshire hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful evening at V&V, the food was exciting and delicious, drinks pairings were great and the wait staff and sommelier were really great and added a bit of banter to the night too. For ten courses we thought this was brilliant value and would love to come back to sample another menu!

On the water at Lockside in Leeds city centre (4 mins from the train station south exit) we’ve built the kind of place we’d want to hang out in ourselves. Whether you’re after a drink, a snack, something comforting, or the full set menu with paired wines, our menu format means that you can choose the style of food you're in the mood for.

The food served here is the food we love to eat. Big flavours, plenty of fat, fire, and that comforting familiarity. Expect delicious food & drinks, great music and top notch service without any faff

We’ve put just as much thought into the drinks. There are over ten craft beers and ales on tap, loads more in the fridge, and a wine list that’s full of supposing little gems. We’ve also got a mix of classic cocktails and a few of our own, inspired by what’s happening in the kitchen.

The view’s pretty special. The atmosphere’s laid-back but buzzy.

We really enjoyed our meal at Emba. The food was varied, interesting, beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It was very good value and we would have no hesitation in recommending Emba highly.
