As ever, outstanding food and attentive but unobtrusive service from one of my longstanding (for a reason) favourite Leeds restaurants. Has been the best steak in Leeds for years - others come and go, this place quietly goes about it's business of just being a damn good homely French cuisine - well done to the team!

Sasso Restaurant is an award winning restaurant. It was set up by Brian Ferguson, daughter Sara Ferguson and her then husband, Stefano Lancellotti who we very sadly lost in 2023. Sara and Stefano's son Nico is now also in the kitchen showing his father's flair and skill in cooking under the watchful eye of talented head chef, Chris Emery. With approximately 100 seats including 2 function rooms there is space for everyone to enjoy our gourmet, freshly made Italian food and friendly efficient service. There is a wide range of choice on the menu with starters, home made pasta dishes in small and main course sizes, meat and fish main courses and a range of delicious home made desserts. The wine list is also well researched and mainly Italian.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. A beautiful authentic Italian restaurant 😍. We were there to celebrate my birthday and couldn't of wished for better service and food. Had the set lunch menu , 3 courses for £28, which was good value. Had haddock starter and steak frites. I requested fried onions instead of garlic butter which the chef kindly did (and a good portion too considering the restaurant was busy. My friend enjoyed her main of sea bass. Finished with honeycomb ice cream. Will be back!
