Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's best loved and most renowned restaurants. Known for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation amongst the towns sophisticated 'foodies'. The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, and its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.
The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, utilising only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. As you might expect, all our food is freshly prepared by our chefs, which also means that if you have any special requirements, we can usually oblige. Vivido is a truly Independent, family run business and we have been here just over 5 years. We are excited to show everyone our ongoing improvements.

We are still serving authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce, as we know this will result in the highest quality dishes for our customers.

Bookings are available for food only. We are happy for you to join us just for drinks, but due to limited tables this will be on a walk in basis only.

We also have a specials board to showcase the talent and passion of our chefs who also delight locals and guests with their themed culinary evenings serving dishes such as fresh Seafood and Prosecco.
