About the restaurant
Inspired by one of the earliest civilizations in ancient history, the Indus Valley, the Indian fine dining concept will honor creating food for pleasure rather than simply sustenance, as the Indus people pioneered by being one of the first to blend and combine spices for flavoring.

We had a wonderful meal at Indus on our way back to Chicago from Wisconsin. We were seated outside, which was lovely to have the outdoor space to ourselves, and everything was delicious.

Avondale
About the restaurant
Comfort food from Kerala, India's spice garden. Thattu is located in the beautiful Chicago neighborhood of Avondale. It was born of Chef Margaret Pak’s love for the southwest Indian coastal cuisine of Kerala. Our menu brings you traditions of Kerala along with playful interpretations from our culinary team. Rich with aromatic spices, coconut and curry leaves, the cuisine is a celebration of the bounty of the land and the sea.

The food is out of this world. Olivia, our server was particularly delightful and informative as are the others who brought wonders from the kitchen. So happy they have Marz on the beverage menu. Ooh-That frizzled okra! Great vibe.

About the restaurant
"Mantra" is the sister restaurant to "The Indian Garden" Chicago. Since coming into business; our family at "IG" has offered an exploration of India's culture though its cuisine. We wanted to share the Indian tradition Atithi Devo Bhau, the supreme importance of the guests with Schiller Park.

Elegant and inviting; with a sumptuous decor awash in the hue's of India's signature spices and decor, the senses were meant to be indulged. Every aspect of Mantra; the food, the decor, the ambiance was designed to excite your senses while also ushering them through the passage of Culinary Nirvana.

This is one of my favorite places, and it's our go-to for the weekend brunch buffet. The food quality, value, and service are all consistently excellent, and the bartender makes a very tasty Bloody Mary. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for great Indian food in clean, convenient, and congenial surroundings.
